The Dark Road Home - 17 Oct 06

Going to be working overtime for the next few weeks to save some money for our wedding next year. So it'll be very dark by the time I get home.

Cherry On Top Of The World - 16 Oct 06

We are fostering a cat called Cherry, as you can see she fancies herself as a bit of a mountaineer!

There's more about the cats we foster at our other blog Adventures in Cat Fostering

Highgate Cemetry - 15 Oct 06

We took a trip to Highgate Cemetry today, and saw Karl Marx' grave, which is a very strange sight!

The cemetry contains so incredibly ornate grave-stones and tombs, but away from the tarmac paths are dirt tracks into the depths of the cemetry, where eroded and over-grown tombstones lie forgotten.

Always reminds me that no matter what you do to make sure you are remembered after your gone, everything fades with time.

A Picture A Day For Eight Years!

This guy did a similar thing to that thich we are intending to do. Except he took a picture of his own face, everyday for EIGHT YEARS!

This video is incredible, you see him grow up within a couple of minutes.

If you can't think of a good idea yourself...copy someone else's

Having read this post on the excellent blog LifeHacker about Project 365, the idea of taking a photo everyday for a whole year, to record your life and document your journey through-out the year.

Faith and I have decided to give this a go, I've always been interested the idea of recording your life, to have something to look back on in the future, show your kids and grandkids. My reason for wanting to record everything is probably because of my poor memory, I need a digital memory to support my failing organic memory.

This blog will host the photo that we take each day, I will try configure the blog so that I can post directly from my mobile, so there should be no excuse not to post a photo. So if you see a day that doesn't have an accompanying photo, feel free to hurl some abuse at me.
